PRESENTERS:

Bill Lavoie

Bill Lavoie is a Project Management Consultant with Strategic Interests, LLC, a Rochester based healthcare and technology consulting firm. A graduate of Boston College, Bill’s experience includes over 30 years working in Director and Manager roles for some of Rochester’s largest consumer goods companies like Constellation Brands, Bausch and Lomb and Birds Eye Foods. He also led pharmaceutical sales training projects for Eagle Productivity Solutions, working with companies such as Pfizer, Bristol-Meyers Squibb, Astra Zeneca and Boeheringer Ingleheim. In 2013, Bill completed a career change to healthcare with a degree in Health Information Technology. He worked as a Core Measures Specialist for Clifton Springs Hospital and as a Health Information Management Analyst with Rochester Rehabilitation prior to joining Strategic Interests.

Mark Muthig

Mark’s entire career experience is in software systems development and integration, where he has designed, developed, deployed and supported enterprise systems. He previously worked for Bell Atlantic, NYNEX, Bell Canada, BellSouth, US West, and Frontier Telephone. He has experience with IT infrastructure deployment and support, EHR deployment, HIPAA audit and compliance, disaster recovery/business continuity, interoperability, and vendor connectivity and development. Mark received his degree in computer science from Rochester Institute
