On Friday, October 4, the NYS Comprehensive Care Centers for Eating Disorders, sponsored by the NYS Department of Health, will present a first-of-its-kind statewide conference featuring experts from New York’s three centers of excellence in eating disorder care and research. Presenters will represent Albany Medical College, the University of Rochester Medical Center, Syracuse University and New York-Presbyterian Hospital, among others.

This day-long conference, to be held in Syracuse, has been developed by an interdisciplinary team to educate providers from the many disciplines who work with these patients and their families, including primary and family care physicians, psychiatry and behavioral health clinicians, dietitians, care managers, nurses, creative arts therapists, life coaches, etc. All interested practitioners are welcome to attend.

The conference website, www.nyeatingdisorders.org/NYSCCCED-2019-Conference.html provides all of the details of the conference, including information about the program, the presenters, the location, and more.
