President Dr. Mark J. Adams is a Professor of Clinical Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and Associate Chair for the Department of Imaging Sciences. He is currently playing a leading role in the section of Emergency Imaging and has expertise in musculoskeletal MRI and Sports Imaging. Dr. Adams is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology and Past President of the New York State Radiological Society and the Rochester Roentgen Ray Society. Currently, he is a councilor for the New York Chapter of the American College of Radiology, a member of the Council Steering Committee for the American College of Radiology, an invited member of the Executive Committee for the New York State Radiological Society, on the Radiology Technologist Advisory Committee for the Bureau of Environmental Radiation Protection of the NYS Department of Health, and he serves on a variety of State and National Medical and Radiological Society committees. In addition to being an officer and a Member of the Executive Committee of the Monroe County Medical Society and a member of the Medical Society of the State of New York and the American Medical Association, Dr. Adams serves as a Delegate from Monroe County to the annual Medical Society of the State of New York House of Delegates Meeting. Locally, Dr. Adams serves as a member of the Advisory Board for the Radiologic Technology Program at Monroe Community College and is a member of the Radiology sub-committees for the local Physician Associations. He also serves on a number of Monroe County Medical Society and Medical Society of the State of New York committees and task forces. |

Dr. Stephanie E. Siegrist is an Orthopedic Surgeon, who has been in practice since 1995. Dr. Siegrist graduated from the Medical College of Pennsylvania, and completed her residency in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr.
Siegrist is very active in the medical community,
sitting on several boards – including the MCMS
and the Rochester Academy of Medicine. Dr. Siegrist
is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic
Surgeons, and is also a member of the Ruth Jackson
Orthopedic Society and the American Medical Association. |

Dr. Jerry J. Svoboda is a Board Certified vascular surgeon. He practices with Rochester Vascular Surgery Associations, P.C., in Gates. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Svoboda is a graduate of St. Louis University and Habnemann Medical School. He completed his residency at Mercy Medical Center in Denver, his surgical residency at the Guthrie Clinic, in Sayre, Pa and his Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Englewood Hospital in Englewood, NJ. Dr. Svoboda began in practice in Rochester in 1984. That same year, he joined the Monroe County Medical Society, and has since held several leadership positions. Dr. Svoboda is also a member of the American Medical Association and the Medical Society of the State of New York. His other professional society memberships include the Upstate New York Vascular Surgeons, American College of Surgeons and the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery. He is a major in the US Army Reserves and has served in Iraq. Dr. Svoboda has been married for 31 years to his wife, Adelaide, who teaches biology at Nazareth College. The couple has two adult children: Mark, 23, lives in Richmond, Virginia and Elizabeth, 26, who is a science writer living in San Jose, California. |

Dr. James E. Szalados recieved his Medical Doctorate in 1986, Diplomate, American Board of Anesthesiology in 1992, Sub-specialty Certification in Critical Care Medicine in 1993, Master of Business and Master of Health Administration in 1998, Juris Doctor 2005. He has Medical licenses in NY, NC, FL, and PA. He practices anesthesiology and critical care medicine in Rochester, NY. Dr. Szalados has attained Fellowship status in the American College of Critical Care Medicine, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the American College of Legal Medicine. His Professional Society Memberships include: Monroe County Medical Society, Medical Society of the State of New York, New York State Society of Anesthesiologists; American Society of Anesthesiologists, New York state Society of Anesthesiologists, Society of Critical Care Medicine, American College of Chest Physicians, New York State Bar Association, American Bar Association (Health Law section), American College of Legal Medicine. He is also admitted to the New York State Bar. He has 20 years of clinical experience in medicine including surgery, anesthesiology, and critical care, and hospitalist medicine - in both academia and private practice. His past experience in health care leadership include Director, Critical Care Division and Critical Care Educational Program, Director of Clinical Services, Executive Vice-Chair, University Anesthesiology Department, Medical Director of Operating Rooms, Medical Director of Respiratory Care, Vice-President of Medical Affairs / Chief Medical Officer, Leadership positions in local, state and national medical societies. He has co-authored and edited two textbooks in the field of critical care medicine and has been the author of more than two dozen peer-reviewed manuscripts, and over a dozen chapters in medical and legal textbooks. He has presented more than one hundred presentations at regional, national, and international medical symposia. |

Christine Stewart is an internist who has been in both hospital-based and private practice situations. She was born and raised in Rochester. She went to Swarthmore College, University of California, and University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. After finishing the Associated Hospitals Program, she joined Genesee Health Service, where she worked for four years. She is now in private practice in Penfield. |

Dr. Kenneth E. DeHaven is a native of Dayton, Ohio. A 1957 graduate of Fairmont High School, he attended Dartmouth College and captained the 1960 football team. After graduating in 1961, he entered Dartmouth Medical School, receiving a BMS Cum Laude degree in 1963. He then transferred to Northwestern University Medical School where he was AOA and received his MD degree in 1965. His postgraduate education was at the Cleveland Clinic, finishing his Orthopaedic residency in 1972. This was interrupted by serving as a medical officer in the US Navy from 1967 to 1969. After completing residency he remained on the faculty of the Cleveland Clinic Orthopaedic Department until relocating to Rochester, NY, in 1975 to join the full time faculty of the University of Rochester Department of Orthopaedics as the Director of Athletic Medicine. Throughout his professional career he has specialized in the care of sports related injuries for recreational and competitive athletes of all ages, and has served as team physician for the University of Rochester, the AAA Rochester Redwings baseball team, the AHL Rochester Americans professional hockey team and the USL Rochester Rhinos professional soccer team. He has authored or co-authored over 80 scientific articles and has contributed over 30 book chapters in the field of Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. Always active in related professional societies, he has served as president of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the International Society of the Knee (one of the parents of ISAKOS:The International Society for Arthroscopy, Knee surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine), and the Herodicus Society. He and his wife Jean (also a Dayton, Ohio native and a 1959 graduate of Fairmont High School) were married in 1968. They remain close to their daughter Kathleen (1972), a clinical trials manager living in Colorado, but lost their son David (1996) in a sledding accident at age 26. Ken has always enjoyed participating in sports (limited to golf and skiing in later years) and travel. |
